Jodhpur Child

This portrait, along with many others I made in India, takes me back to that moment. This child who was with her mother and grandmother was playing and when I approached to take a picture she was a little embarrassed (I still don't understand if it's a girl or a boy) and wanted to hide behind her grandmother. The grandmother encouraged her to look into my lens by tapping her waist. And after some embarrassment she looked at me and this was the result!
